The manpower and force management functions are in AR 570-4 and AR 71-32 respectively. Manpower-specific subject areas: requirements determination, manpower documentation, Change Management Plan (CMP), Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA), and Defense Financial Management. Force Management-specific subject areas: Manpower Requirements Criteria (MARC), Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP), Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE), Total Army Analysis (TAA), and Force Design Update (FDU).
The strategic focus of the course requires nominees assigned to positions that require the use of manpower and force management skills.
