FROM WASHINGTON DC (I-95 SOUTH)

FROM RICHMOND (I-95 NORTH)

If you are traveling South on I-95, take the Fairfax Parkway/Backlick Road (286) exit 166 A.  At 4.26 miles, turn left onto U.S. Rt. 1 (Richmond Highway.)  Turn right at the first light and proceed though the Tulley Gate entrance.  Turn right at the second light onto Gunston Road. Turn left onto 21st St. Turn left onto Gaillard Rd. Parking will be located on the left (The big parking lot.) AFMS will be on your left in Bldg 247, Humphreys Hall.

If you are traveling North on I-95, take the Ft Belvoir Exit 161 B onto U.S. Rt 1- Richmond Hwy Turn right at the Tulley Gate entrance and proceed onto Ft Belvoir.  Turn right at the second light onto Gunston Road. Turn left onto 21st St. Turn left onto Gaillard Rd. Parking will be located on the left (The big parking lot.) AFMS will be on your left in Bldg 247, Humphreys Hall.

Important Ft. Belvoir Access Information

Due to recent changes with the FT. Belvoir gate operating hours, the information below may not be accurate. For the most up to date access information please visit the Fort Belvoir Gate Information  page.

Visitors who wish to enter Fort Belvoir and do not have a Department of Defense identification card must use Tulley Gate from 6 am-6 pm.

The SSG John D Linde Visitor Center issues temporary passes for sponsored visitors and personnel requiring long term access. The Visitor Center is located at Tulley Gate and open Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 4:45 pm. To receive a pass, authorized drivers must be sponsored, provide a valid state driver's license, a current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.

Visitors with a Department of Defense identification card may also enter through Lieber Gate- Open 24 hours, Pence Gate- Open from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm, or Kingman Gate- Open from 6 am-6 pm.

At least one occupant of a vehicle must present valid DOD identification in order to access gates other than Tulley. Visitors with a Department of Defense identification card may also enter through Pence Gate from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm. At least one occupant of a vehicle must present valid DOD identification in order to access gates other than Tulley.
