In accordance with AR 350-1, AFMS collects and maintains personal information for in-processing, academic records, and the student database. This information is used by the Administrative Team, Registrar, and Leadership to manage student enrollment and support. Disclosure of this information is voluntary; however, failure to provide it may prevent your enrollment and participation in the course.

In-processing takes place on the first Monday of your course from 0730 to 0800 hours in the front lobby of Building 247, Humphrey’s Hall, 5500 21st Street, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5923. Class begins promptly at 0800 hours.

Lodging information applies to all students attending in a Temporary Duty (TDY) status from outside the National Capital Region (NCR).

| Functional Area 50 Qualification Course (FA50QC) | Security Clearance: SECRET clearance required. Submit visit request via DISS to Alberto Cadiz (See para 4). System Registration: Requires FMSWeb and Planning, Programming & Budgeting Business Operating System (PPB BOS) accounts. Required Documents: Military must upload DA Form 705. Height/Weight Screening: Administered during the first week of class. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2026-13, ARMY BODY COMPOSITION PROGRAM AND STANDARDS, 1 JUL 26. This directive consolidates and implements modifications to the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP), superseding policy in previous directives and regulations. This update introduces the waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) health risk assessment tool as the ABCP measurement standard. Effective immediately, WHtR is the Only Authorized ABCP Standard. The WHtR is adopted as the sole measurement for all Soldiers. The use of height and weight screening tables is discontinued. All Soldiers will have their WHtR measured at least twice per calendar year. The standard is a WHtR of less than and not equal to 0.55.
